How to make a quotation
Create a GST quotation in four steps
1 · Add your details
Enter your business name, GSTIN and address, then who the quote is for. These appear on the quotation header.
2 · List your items
Add each item with quantity, rate, any discount, and the GST rate. Amounts and tax update as you type.
3 · Choose CGST/SGST or IGST
Same-state supply splits tax into CGST + SGST; a different state applies IGST. Toggle whichever fits the buyer.
4 · Preview and download
Check the live preview, then download a clean PDF to send. A quotation is a price offer valid for a set period — it isn’t a tax invoice, so it carries no IRN, signed QR or GST filing.

Is a quotation the same as an invoice?
No. A quotation is a price offer valid for a set period, sent before an order. An invoice is raised after supply. This tool creates a quotation only — it does not generate a tax invoice, IRN, signed QR or GST return.
When do I use CGST + SGST vs IGST?
For a supply within the same state, GST splits into CGST and SGST (half each). For a supply to a different state, a single IGST applies at the full rate. The tool lets you toggle between the two.
Is the tool free? Do I need to sign up?
The tool is free and you can build and preview a quotation with no signup. You only enter your email when you want to download the PDF.
Can I add HSN codes and multiple line items?
Yes. Add as many line items as you need, each with an optional HSN/SAC code, quantity, rate, discount and GST rate.
