FAQ
Quotation maker — common questions
How do I make a quotation online for free?
Fill in your business and customer details above, add each item with its quantity, rate, discount and GST rate, and choose same-state (CGST + SGST) or other-state (IGST). The quotation builds itself in the live preview. It’s free with no login to create — you enter your email only when you want the PDF.
What should a GST quotation format include?
Your business name, GSTIN and address; the customer’s name, address and GSTIN if they have one; a quotation number, date and validity; each item with its HSN/SAC code, quantity, rate, discount and GST rate; the taxable value, the tax split (CGST + SGST, or IGST), the total in figures and words; and your terms.
Is a quotation the same as an invoice?
No. A quotation is a price offer valid for a set period, sent before an order. An invoice is raised after supply. This tool creates a quotation only — it does not generate a tax invoice, IRN, signed QR or GST return.
When do I use CGST + SGST vs IGST?
For a supply within the same state, GST splits into CGST and SGST, half each. For a supply to a different state, a single IGST applies at the full rate. The quotation maker lets you toggle between the two.
Is the quotation maker free? Do I need to sign up?
Yes, it’s free, and you can build and preview a quotation with no signup or login. You only enter your email when you want to download the PDF.
Can I add HSN codes and multiple line items?
Yes. Add as many line items as you need, each with an optional HSN or SAC code, quantity, rate, discount and GST rate.
What if I send quotations to dealers all the time?
A one-off maker is fine for the occasional quote. If you sell through a dealer network, Concord handles RFQs, quote versions and one-click quote-to-order inside your B2B commerce.
For dealer networks
Quoting dealers every day? Do it inside your commerce.
This free tool makes one-off quotes. Concord turns dealer RFQs into tracked quotes — offer, counter, approval — and a won quote into a credit-checked, contract-priced order in one click. No re-keying.
On orders, Concord applies tax automatically per product and per state; the full CGST/SGST and IGST breakup you see in this tool is configured to your setup as a scoped build.
Self-service dealer ordering + credit-limit enforcement + automatic per-product, per-state tax — run standalone, or above your ERP via API-based integration. Not a DMS. Not a SFA.
