Introduction:

What is a Search Index?

A search index is a regularly, and automatically updated database of all your products and related information in a simple form.

• Click on Search Index under Administration module.

• Search index page displayed.

• Select Index Type as Product / Category from drop down.

• Select Action as Update Index or Full Index from drop down.

• Click on Submit button to run indexing.

• After click on submit, index running and display the status as In-Progress.

• If Index completed with no errors / warnings status changed as complete and Products / Categories are displayed in Storefront.

• If Index not completed due to any warnings / errors status changed as Completed With Warning / Errors and download icon appear under warning log / Error log.

• Click on Download icon under warning log / error log, to download the warning logs /error logs.
